To provide an efficient and effective justice system through adequate support services to the Magistracy and in its dealing with members of the public, the Department is dedicated to:

Objectives

To maintain an efficient system of judicial administration through competent and reliable support services to the court and to litigants.

To perform all duties required for the execution of the orders of the Court.
Programme Objectives
This programme is concerned with the dispensation of Justice in the hearing of Criminal, Quasi Criminal and Civil Matters summarily in the Magisterial Districts 1, 11 and 111.
This Department is also concerned with the holding of:

Preliminary Inquiries,

Coroner’s Inquests and
-
Liquor Licence Sessions.
